Kristi Hillebrand, CVT
Office Manager, Certified Veterinary Technician
For Kristi, veterinary medicine is truly a family affair. She’s married to Dr. Matthew Hillebrand! Kristi has worked with animals for many years, and her extensive experience working with all types of pets—and people—continues to serve her well as the manager of Dreaming Summit Animal Hospital!
Raised in Arizona from a young age, Kristi attended Scottsdale Community College to study equine science, then worked at an Arabian horse ranch after graduating and traveled the country showing the magnificent creatures. She’s also toured the state as a Parada Del Sol Rodeo Princess!
It was during Kristi’s time working closely with horses that she fell in love with the veterinary side of the animal care world. She attended Long Technical College for her Veterinary Assistant certification, becoming a CVT in 1994. Two years later, Kristi married Dr. Hillebrand, and the rest is history!
In her spare time, Kristi enjoys playing softball and racquetball, sewing, studying interior design, and spending time with her family. She and Dr. Hillebrand have two grown sons and they’re about to become grandparents! The Hillebrands share their home with three dogs and a rabbit.
My love for animals started as a young child with a herd of stuffed animals and a playschool mini veterinary hospital truck and has continued for over 4 decades. I moved to Arizona in 1999 and worked in the non-profit and human medicine field until 2008 when I went back to school and graduated from Kaplan College’s veterinary technician program. In addition to being a technician, I volunteered my time to care for hospitalized veterans’ pets and homes and provided pet sitting services specializing in elderly or ill pets.
I was born in Oklahoma and grew up partially there and in California. During and after high school, I travelled to as many places as I could, before I moved to Arizona from San Francisco.
I currently live with my husband and our cat, Karma, and 3 dogs, Maverick, Sadie, and Henry. In my spare time, you will find me in my art studio painting, refinishing furniture, working on my house, or shopping for vintage treasures to repurpose.
Bettie has a love for all animals, but cats hold a special place in her heart. She has 4 cats of her own Snow, Dot, Bambi and Poppy, as well as her family dog Olive who is a German Shepard. She loves to spend her time relaxing with her cats, drawing, painting, playing the violin, traveling when she can, and spending time with her family.
She graduated from Valley Vista High School in 2021 in the top 10% of her class. She obtained her title of being an official Veterinary Assistant while attending and completing the West Mec program that same year. She will be continuing her education at Estrella Mountain Community College with a presidential scholarship, then advancing onto the University of Arizona to major in Veterinary Science after obtaining her Associates degree. Her ultimate goal is to earn her Doctorate degree and become a Veterinarian.
Bettie is a native of Arizona. Born in Sun City and has lived in Surprise, Waddell and now Litchfield Park. She began her time at the Dreaming Summit by externing as a Veterinary Assistant and now having the opportunity of working part-time as a receptionist while attending school. She is grateful to be working in such a positive environment with her co-workers and gaining more experience in the field while having the ability to impact the lives of others.

Olivia’s passion for working with animals started when she got her first pug at the age of 7. She has worked with all types of animals including livestock, pocket pets and small animals. She strives to help those in need. Olivia decided to work with small animals after graduating with an associate’s degree in Applied Animal Science from the University of New Hampshire in 2017. And since then she has devoted her life to the well-being of animals.
Olivia grew up on the coast in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She was a veterinary technician at a small animal hospital for 6 years. She also volunteered at a non-profit animal shelter working as an adoption coordinator. Olivia helped adopt out hundreds of dogs and cats that came all the way from Mississippi. Her fun and quirky outlook on life makes her an out-going technician.
During her free time, Olivia likes to spend her days exploring, swimming, going to local shops and hanging out with her pug “Olive Oyl”. She moved to Buckeye, Arizona in May 2020 and quickly found her calling here at Dreaming Summit Animal Hospital. She is now perusing her skills and dreams here in Arizona.
Born and raised in Arizona, Jade has been an animal lover her entire life. While she loves all creatures, especially hippos, she is especially passionate about every patient she cares for. She knew from an early age she wanted to work in the veterinary field. After high school, she walked into her local animal hospital and asked for a job, saying she would do anything she was asked.
Over a decade later, through various practices, Jade brings her knowledge and experience to Dreaming Summit Animal Hospital. But that is not all, she also brings her quick wit and fun and sassy personality to the family.
When she is not at work Jade enjoys watching movies, hiking, and reading. She loves to have fun with her friends and family, always the life of the party. Of course she also has her own wild bunch of dogs she loves spending time with.
